Bio

Kelly considers herself a self-taught artist because she never liked art class very much, since she didn't want to be told what to draw. Growing up, she always loved looking and being around all forms of art, dreaming of someday being one of them. In the early 90's, she hand painted thimbles for a company in Maine. She continued to do this until her second child was born, making it a little harder to paint hundreds of thimbles at a time.

For years, she was very content being a mom to wonderful children, occasionally working on her graphic art and poetry. Now, she's back doing what she feels she was always meant to do - paint! She doesn't paint for the profit, but for the love of the act of painting itself and how it makes her feel.
